Terms of Service

  • General:

  • The client must be 18 years or older

  • The artist reserves the right to refuse a commission without further explanation

  • If the T.O.S. are breached, the artist reserves the right to cancel the commission and refund with expense allowance. The deposit is non-refundable.

  • Prices seen on the website are to be used as a guideline. The final price of a commission will be determined with the quote, and invoice if further additions to the costume were requested.

  • The client needs to provide a clear visual reference sheet to work with

  • If the client's slot is accepted, a deposit has to be paid, however, work only will begin once the commission is paid in full. Another invoice for shipping will be sent once the costume is completed.

  • +18 options like cosmetic or usable sheaths are available, please contact the artist for examples and possible questions.

  • As necessary part of the freelance artist legally bound redention period in Germany, the client's data concerning the transaction needs to be securely stored for 6 years.

  • Openings and securing a slot:

  • Commissions only are opened on announcement. Check Twitter or the landing page.

  • If a client is interested in a slot, they have to fill out an opening form the artist provides. If the character has been chosen, a price quote will be forwarded by the artist. Only if the client accepts the quote, the deposit has to be paid to secure the slot. If the quote has been declined by the customer, the slot will be forwarded to the next person in line.

  • If the design has not been chosen in said round, it is encouraged to try again next time, as the artist only can accept a few slots at a time.

  • Turn around time:

  • Keep the artist's queue in mind

  • Turnaround time can vary greatly on complexity, your place in queue and type of commission - a digitigrade fullsuit will take longer than just head.

  • Turnaround time will typically not take longer than 2 years, the goal is always to deliver in less than a year.

  • In case that the artist is unable to work due to illness or injury, the customer allows a turn around time for up to 7 months before requesting a refund

  • Clients are kept informed if a larger delay happens

  • For frequent updates on commissions please follow my telegram channel

  • Updates and approvals:

  • The artist sends out photos and progress shots directly to the client to their telegram or Twitter account, if significant progress is made or stages in need of approval are reached. Additionally, Trello or the Telegram channel can be checked to see if updates are made.

  • The client can ask for WIP updates at any time, but it should not be made a daily habit. The Queue on Trello updates if progress was made.

  • If the approved character’s design changes after materials have been bought, the client will be charged for any extra materials and time. Additionally, they have to agree to an occurring delay as materials have to be bought first.

  • Visual references

  • The client has to provide a clear visual reference to get their character approved. The artist does not work with painted or heavily shaded references as markings and important details could be missed.

  • The reference must be SFW and consist of front, side and back view in either planti or digitigrade anthro form. Head, hand, feetpaws and tail for partials. Markings and piercings / wished additional jewellery should be visible and readable.

  • DTD

  • Duct tape dummies are a requirement for fullbody costumes. They have to be shipped to the artist. Occurring shipping fees have to be paid by the customer.

  • The duct tape dummy shall not be made too tightly, otherwise the costume will not fit comfortably.

  • Payment:

  • Payment is accepted via Paypal invoice or SEPA banking transaction

  • Order of payment: Quote ➔ deposit ➔ full payment ➔ shipping payment. While the first invoice covers the cost for the costume, a second invoice will cover the time and work on it & the third will be the shipping costs

  • After the slot has been secured by paying the deposit, the customer has to wait until it's their turn in queue to pay in full and get their commission started. This can take up to a few months depending on how many slots are filled each round.

  • 20% of the payment has to be an upfront deposit, which are nonrefundable. The other 80% will be paid once it is the client's turn in the queue.

  • If you want to be first in queue and started immediately you have to be ready to pay in full and not only the deposit.

  • After completition:

  • After the costume is completed and approved by the client no further edits will be made unless it's paid

  • Once the costume is finished, the invoice for shipment will be made. The shipping will come with a shipping insurance which has to be paid by the costumer

  • By handing over the costume to the German parcel service, usually to DHL, the artist is not responsible for the package and its possible damage anymore. The costume however will be only shipped with insurance and the best possible packaging.

  • If damage sadly happens during shipment, the artist offers repairments. The shipping has to be paid by the client, though.

  • The worst case shipping scenario:

  • If the costume gets lost in shipment, the costumer has got two options:

  • 1st – they will take the money from the shipping insurance, without requesting the costume to be remade. The value of the refund can differ. As of right now, no package has been lost and no further details of such cases can be written down.

  • It will take time till the money is refunded by the parcel service as each case has to get investigated carefully before, as there still is the chance of finding the missing parcel again.

  • 2nd – they use the money from the shipping insurance to request a new costume

  • Refunds:

  • Unless of an emergency, commissions cannot be refunded on a whim. The deposit is non-refundable as it is used to cover the costs of the material. Started costumes will get sold (as in unfurred bases, sewn paws, tails etc.), the character however will be made unrecognizable as I do not hold copyright to you character.

  • Fursuit usage

  • Once the costume leaves the artist’s studio, it is in the client’s responsibility to care for their fursuit accordingly

  • The costume can be used however the client wishes to (as in adult activities and the like). Is not in the artist’s responsibility anymore.

  • The client can make own updates to the costume, but at their own risks – damages will not be repaired by the original artists anymore, but depending on the level of damage, repairment plans can be negotiated with a cost.

  • Under no circumstances it is allowed to take patterns of any form from any part of the costume, be it for own usuage or for sale.

  • Even though the heads are made of foam and squishy it isn't recommended to be vacuum packed as damage could possibly occure. Vacuum at your own risk.

  • Artist's usage

  • The artist is allowed to post concepts, photos and WIP shots of the costume in progress. Finished costumes can be used as promotional material on Twitter and other channels.

  • Copyrighted characters

  • All characters involved must be provided with permission from their respective owner. If the client uses a character they do not have permission for, they will be blacklist from further business.

  • !ALLERGY WARNING!

  • As the artist is a dog owner, despite best efforts there could be the possibility of the dog coming in contact with materials.
